Sorry for the lack of updates, we have been swamped. Anyway, here are some photos of a night out that we had with a fellow English teacher (Nami), and Inamori the PE teacher at one of the schools I teach at. Inamori brought his family because his two children wanted to meet foreigners. He informed us that night that his children have met foreigners and talked to them before but never interacted with them outside of a learning environment. Like the typical Japanese children they were pretty shy. But needless to say Amber and I had a lot of fun eating and drinking with everyone.
One of the more interesting moments of the night was when Amber and I asked Nami if some ice came with shots of Japanese alcohol. She read the menu and confirmed that yes they came with a shot, but that was wrong.
